This heritage, expressed in monasteries, churches, chapels, memorials, castles, towers and bridges, is structured in Romanesque Route, that merges the councils of Amarante, Baião, Castelo de Paiva, Celorico de Basto, Cinfães, Felgueiras, Lousada, Marco de Canaveses, Paços de Ferreira, Paredes, Penafiel and Resende.
